Having shown an affinity for music from a very young age, Bassyboii has been fine-tuning his DJ skills with a unique repertoire of mixes, music elements and playlists. His career began in 2016, being further propelled by a loyal following that loved the mind-bending sounds of Bassyboii. With influences ranging from Hip Hop to Techno, Tech House,Bass House, Deep House, Amapiano and Drum and Bass, this is one DJ who isn’t afraid to innovate and try something new. Bassyboii has been featured on various national platforms such as Festivals4u, Madibaz Radio and BayTV discussing his career on this platforms. In 2021, Bassyboii was nominated for DJ of the Year 2020 by the 041 City Awards.
